- 1.1 Webstay Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 137 579 278) trading as Stay Somewhere (“us”, “we”, “our”), as the owner and manager of the staysomewhere.com.au website (the “Website”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We are bound by Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which sets out a number of principles concerning the protection of your personal information.
- 1.2 Set out below is information that we are required to communicate to the users of the Website. We recommend that you keep this information for future reference. It does not, however, restrict our rights under the Privacy Act in any way.
- 1.3 We will update this Privacy Policy periodically to take in account changes in the law and other relevant matters. We suggest that you regularly check this policy for updates so that you are fully aware of our policies with regard to protecting the privacy of your information. 2. Why do we collect your personal information?
- 2.1 The main reason why we collect personal information is to facilitate interaction between users of the Website (Accommodation Providers, Activities & Events Providers and their customers). For this purpose, we maintain a database of personal information.
- 2.2 We also collect personal information from entities acquiring advertising from us (other than advertising of properties and Goods & Services) for publication on the Website, so as to allow for that advertising to be provided and for invoicing purposes.
- 2.3 Furthermore, personal information is collected by us to, among other things, enable us to provide you with the services you have requested and to assist us to improve our services. If you choose not to provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the products and services you require, or a high level of service.
